Meet Gracie

March

You know the phrase, March in like a lamb out like a lion. Well, our was in like a dog. We acquired a rescue from a friend who had her with her three other dogs for about a month. All I can say is that she needs to be in a single dog house. Anyway, she is very, very timid. The first 3 days she mostly slept, then she woke up! The puppy came out big time. She tested chewing a little, she likes tassels, so we got her a rope toy with tassels. She has learned the word no from somewhere. Though, I don’t like to use it too much, when it is important, (pottying on the rug, drinking from the fish pond, going downstairs when I know she has to pee and won’t go out) I will pull out the NO! I truly believe she is going to be a great dog, it is hard to be patient.

This little dog has made me think about my relationship with God. He gives us all we need, guides us, protects us, teaches us, and most of all LOVES us unconditionally and we are timid, we turn from him and do our own thing, and still, he waits until we are ready. You know what? I am grateful that he waited on me.

Taking a week off of being at the shop daily has been so hard. I have things left on my bench that I want to get done, I got lots of stuff in my head and a few obligation pieces waiting for me. We are hoping that little Gracie Mae will be a good shop dog, but we have to get more trust. So, for now, I will bring some work home, I will be available by appointment and shorter shop time and it will all be worth it.

Much Love

Lisha
